Semester GPA—/ 4.00

0 graded classes · 0 credits counted

Blank grades and zero-credit classes are excluded. GPA is weighted by credits. The default 4.0 scale uses A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0. Your school’s official scale takes priority. Your entries stay in this page’s memory.

How the GPA calculation works

Convert each class grade to grade points, multiply by its credits, add the quality points, then divide by the total counted credits. A 3-credit A and a 4-credit B produce (4 × 3 + 3 × 4) ÷ 7 = 3.43 GPA.

Colleges use different grading rules

Some colleges use plus/minus grades or different percentage cutoffs. This quick calculator uses a standard A–F, 4.0 scale with optional custom percentage thresholds. Your private Credavyn workspace also lets you edit the grade scale for each course, record academic history, and track assignments with syllabus weights.
